Description

FAZAR 32+ (LT) is a light version of the FAZAR 32+ ultrasonic phased array rail flaw detector designed for continuous inspection of railway rails along their entire length and cross-section.

The system is designed for inspection of standard railway rail profiles, including R50, R65, R75, UIC52 and UIC60. The inspection covers the complete rail cross-section, including the rail base blades, with automatic identification and decoding of defects.

Inspection results are presented graphically as a 3D image, providing the coordinates of detected defects, their dimensions, spatial orientation and depth of occurrence.

Phased array grids are used for selective scanning of railway track sections, including switch points, welded joints and level crossings. For level crossings covered by decking, a dedicated TOFD inspection mode allows testing directly from the running surface of the rail into the rail base and rail head.
